The Parish Hall is next to St. Mary's Church, Colkirk, NR21 7NR.

There is ample free parking alongside the hall.

 The hall seats 80, (hire fee includes tables & chairs) - and for one off events, the adjoining Jim Hall Room as well

Jim Hall Room ( 7.8m x 4.5m )

Ideal as a quieter area or for the serving of food

 

 

Kitchen

Hire fee includes use of crockery, cutlery and glassware

          

Upstairs Meeting Room

(Subject to separate hire fee)

Hiring the Hall

The Hall is licensed for either:

 80 people seated  

 95 people standing

                         

 Hire Fees

Regular Bookings*

 Hall  ( including Kitchen )       £7.50 per hour

                              The Jim Hall Room                    £6.00 per hour

                  Upstairs Meeting Room               £6.00 per hour

* A "Regular Booking" is defined as one where all or part of the hall is hired:

 on at least 9 occasions during a 12 month period and the bookings are at regular intervals (eg. once a week, once a month)

and the bookings are for the same day and time on each occasion (eg. Tuesdays at 10am, Thursdays at 7pm).

 

One Off Bookings

 Hall  ( which includes Kitchen and the Jim Hall Room ) 

 

  £15 per hour ( payable no later than a week before the booking )

 A separate £150 returnable deposit is required, in cash or by BACS, within a week of the booking being confirmed.

Deposit will be returned after the hall has been used and there is no damage, or cleaning required.

From October to March there will be an additional one-off charge of £10 ( regardless of hire period )

to cover the increased heating costs during this time

 

 Upstairs Meeting Room     £6.00  per hour

 

Please Note

In the interests of our neighbours,

no part of the premises can be hired past 10pm and the key must be returned by 10.30pm                

 

Deposits and hire fees must be paid either by BACS or in cash. Cheques are not accepted.

Hire Fees include the use of chairs, tables, crockery, cutlery and glassware.

The Hall is owned by Colkirk Parish Council and is run on their behalf by a voluntary Management Committee.

The Committee is responsible for the maintenance and some repairs to the building and for bookings.

The Committee also organises fund raising events and applies for grants to help raise money to pay for the upkeep of the hall and to make improvements.
